Measuring Vertical Jump

  2. Reach up as high as possible and touch the wall, leaving a chalk mark.
  3. Without moving your feet, bend your knees and jump as high as you can.
  4. Reach high on the wall with your dominant arm and make a new chalk mark.
  5. Measure the distance between the two points in inches to determine your vertical jump height.
