// JRZY PICKUP · FREE PLAY, HOSTED

The game belongs to the kids. We keep the lights on.

Pickup is not a program. It is where the love of the game comes from. JRZY hosts the place, keeps it safe, real, and supervised, and stays out of the play. No whistles, no scores kept, no one measured. Drop off, let them play, come watch anytime. Football (soccer) ⚽ and beyond.

// The ethos

We host the container, not the game.

Everything about JRZY Pickup comes down to one line. We provide and verify the place. We stay out of the play.

Ours

The place.

A known venue, a present host, an age-appropriate session, and a check-in that confirms your kid was part of it. The host keeps the place safe. That is what earns the drop-off.

Not ours

The play.

Fouls, calls, teams, effort, who won, whether a kid balled hard or chilled. Street rules. The kids self-officiate, hold each other accountable, and it resolves itself.

Never ours

The whistle.

No effort tracking, no minimums, no rankings, no gadgets, no counting. If a feature would make JRZY the referee or the stopwatch of kids' play, it is out. Permanently.

House rule

A supervised place is not a reffed game. An adult is always there and keeps it safe. They just don't blow whistles. We are not the police, and the game resolves itself.

// How it works

Show up. Play. Head home.

One primitive, nothing else: the check-in. It proves a real, supervised session happened and your kid was in it. That's all.

01 · Show up

Check in at the door.

Find a hosted run, walk in, and you're counted. Presence is confirmed by the venue or a tap from the host. No signup for the run itself, no fee, no gear required.

02 · Play

The game is yours.

Nothing inside the session is watched, timed, or scored by us. No check-out, no minimum minutes, no tracking what happens after you walk in. Just play.

03 · Head home

Your streak, your eyes only.

Your account keeps one private count: sessions you showed up to. Nobody else ever sees it, and it never becomes a ranking, a score, or market data. Ever.

3sessions this week · you're on a roll
  • Counts one thing: showing up. Like a step counter, mine and motivating.
  • Never public, never ranked, never compared to anyone.
  • Miss a week? No guilt ping. Just "good to have you back."
The parent's view · comfort, not surveillance
Checked in · Westside Rec, hosted by Coach D. You're welcome to come watch anytime.
  • One message that matters: a safe, supervised, real place, and your kid is at it.
  • No effort scores, no "is my kid playing enough." We don't measure it and never claim to.
  • Trust the process: drop off, let them play, come watch if you like.

Runs open here at launch.

We're walking Charlotte the same way we walked South Florida: every park, every court, every real price, every gap. Hosted runs open the day the city guide goes live. Live in Charlotte? What you know shapes where the first runs land.

// Part of the method

Free play feeds everything else.

At the Academy, a week without free play is an incomplete week.

Coached training teaches the craft. Competition tests it. But free play is where the instincts live: decision speed, creativity, leadership, and settling your own calls. So the Academy leaves grounds and hours open and hosted for pickup, coaches step back to hosts, and no drills bleed in. Nobody is made to come. There is always somewhere to go.

Want to open a run? Vetted adults, coaches, and club staff can host a container at a JRZY venue and give the next kid the same drop-off they grew up on.
