What Happened to Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow, born on August 14, 1987, is a former professional football quarterback and a notable figure in sports and media. After a brief NFL career primarily with the Denver Broncos and a stint in minor league baseball with the New York Mets, Tebow has transitioned away from professional sports.As of January 2025, Tebow has become a partner at GOVO Venture Partners, a venture capital firm based in Florida. In this role, he aims to leverage his expertise and relationships to support early-stage companies focused on solving societal problems, aligning with his philanthropic interests through the Tim Tebow Foundation.

Tebow's football career included winning the Heisman Trophy in 2007 and leading the Florida Gators to two BCS National Championships. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2023. Following his attempts to return to the NFL as a tight end with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021, which ended with his release after one preseason game, he retired from professional sports.

In addition to his business ventures, Tebow has been active as a motivational speaker and college football analyst for ESPN. He is also expecting his first child with his wife, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, which adds a personal milestone to his ongoing journey outside of competitive sports.
